big pipes!!!!

how would my 1991 ford f250 4x4 (460) sound with a 4' stright through exhaust and a 6' tip???

so whats best to do i already got stright pipes but too damn loud. i want a thrush muffler

If you are completely redoing the exhaust system from front to back, I would run true duals and 2.5 inch pipes with 4x18 inch echo tips.

If you want to run a single in dual out muffler then go with 3 inch intermediate pipe and 2.5 inch tail pipes with 4x18 inch echo tips.

What you are talking about running is more like a diesel setup.

I had dual 2.5 inch glasspacks on my 95 460 and it sounded good,but it needed 3in it just sounded like it was struggling to breath with the 2.5 in also.But if you want loud this will do.
