Need HELP in the User CP

Need HELP in the User CP
Can someone please tell me how to disable the e-mail alert. Every time someone responds to a thread I have responded too, I get a e-mail stating so. I have a callus on my finger from clicking the delete button now.

Go to the CP;
On the left column is a category "Settings & Options"
Under Settings & Options is a link for "Edit Options", click that.
Now in the main part of the page is a heading for "Messaging & Notification" with a drop down box, you probably will see "Instant email notification".
You can click the drop down box for other options, including "Do no subscribe".
Down at the bottom of the page is a "Save changes" button, remember to click that.
On the left column is a category "Settings & Options"
Under Settings & Options is a link for "Edit Options", click that.
Now in the main part of the page is a heading for "Messaging & Notification" with a drop down box, you probably will see "Instant email notification".

I think you will still get notification on old threads when you had it turned on. At least it did for me but that was awhile ago. FTE has changed software since then so maybe that issue is fixed.

you have to go to the subscriptions menu and unsubscribe to everything.
The option is off by default now, because the emailing takes up lots of server processes and bandwidth.
So just go to the thread subscriptions and delete them all, and then subscribe to whatever forum you want.
The forums that dont get used much, i subscribe to them.
Like, its best to subscribe to your chapter forum so you dont forget to visit, like most of my members do. hahah. =)

Actually Talyn, the Chapter I belong to had 3,276 replies on 1 thread in 1 month, lol. I look at my chapter page 2-3 times a day (more if it's raining out on a Sunday and get "primed up" for football from a way to early hour
