a/c is finally done!!!!!
it took me the better part of a week but the vintage air install is done and so far so good. I charged it up and so far i can chatter the teeth... All in all it was a straight forward install and aside from having to wait on my hoses to get crimped went in without a hitch. I put in the mini and it seems to have plenty of power for the little bonus built cab. I will get some pics of the install soon...

Sounds good! I'm anxious to see your pics. Is it a heat/air combo or is it just A/C? I'd like to eventually do A/C in my '52, but I'm not sure how it will lay out. I'd prefer to keep the Magic Aire heater, but I'm not sure that I'd have room under the dash for a separate A/C unit without it getting crowded.
On another note, did you ever get your steering and suspension issues hammered out? What did you figure out?

It was a heat/cool/defrost unit. I have a small glove box now but it tucked up in tight so you cant even see the evap.. The wper likage is close but it all fit in nice.
No a/c needed but hey man the heater works too... WOOOHOOO
