System 6 Alarm
Hello, Im a fairly new poster even though I have been a member since 2002 or so. I usually find the answer to my problem by searching the forum. Thanks to all of you for your kind information that you have provided many.
My problem is with my F250 Systme 6 Ford Keyless entry alarm system. I was wondering if there is a way to disable the alarm without losing the use of the remote? I was able to get my key fob working after the truck had a dead battery. I bought the truck about a week ago and the previous owner left the alarm system deactivated since it was so sensitive. I want to use the keyless entry but I dont want it to arm the alarm. Looking through the manaul showed me how to turn the chirp on and off while locking the doors. I just did not see anything about keyless entry only without the alarm. If anybody out knows anything about this I'd greatly appreciate some help! Thanks to you all!
