transmission fluid change interval?

Got a 2008 F-250 with Torqshift. I was wondering what the typical transmission fluid service interval is for these trucks? What fluid service is recommended and when? My dealer here has two options, a fluid exchange or something else. What is recommended for severe service? Thanks.

my 06 gets done at the dealer every 30K miles.

That depends on whether or not you have the internal or external filter.

30,000 miles if you have the external filter, 60,000 miles for the internal

I'm not sure about the 2008 but on my 2006 the fluid change needs to be done using a heated flush machine in order to get all of the fluid out of the torque converter and the cooler. The heated fluid is required to open the thermostat allowing flow through the cooler.

We do them every 30K at the dealer so there is a nice paper trail should the tranny ever fail under warranty.
