F250 tire size question

I was parked in the school parkin lot when i went to take a **** by the tail gate and looked over and realized my tire was flat. I have 235s on it now, i put a 225 on the rear for now. Can i use it for a couple days with being a little smaller? I know not to put it in 4 wheel

would only be an issue if you have a tracloc limited unit in the rear. would be a no problem what so ever if you were to swap it to the front.

235 and 225 are tire widths in millimeters...we would need to know the other two parts of the tire size to know if there is a height difference.

factory for that truck should be 235/85-16, not 235/75-whatever... Do they make 225/85-16s?

Size matters...

235/85-16 diameter: 31.73 inches
225/85-16 diameter: 31.06 inches
265/75-16 diameter: 31.65 inches

I made the switch from the 235/85s that were specified for my '95 F350 to 265/75s at around 285,000 miles and ran those (Firestone R4S IIs) ~395,000 miles at which time I bought a set of Transforce HTs also in the 265 size which now have ~20,000 miles on them.

Most F-Series of more recent years that came with 235/85s have been changed to the 265/75s from the factory.

Try the tire size section of the Automotive Calculators area of this website under "Article/Specs" for more info.
