This is sure baffling for me. My 1988 Ford F250 Lariat
Pick-up has had chronic ignition problems from the
word get-go. I replaced the starter three times due
to one after another being bad, then one other
time I replaced the modual and magnetic-pickup. I am
stumped as of NOW because I just had another breakdown.
I thought this time that it was the solenoid but once
it got installed, there was nothing! And then the
battery was noticed to be HOT. Anyone out there with
suggestions please reply!
What motor do you have and are you running headers? Where did the replacement starter come from? Not Kragens I hope. Normally a hot battery indicates it was pulling a lot of current.
