Need a starter....
Well my 59 has sat all summer, one reason is the starter has quit. I have 3 spares but they are all poopie also, so really i have no spares.
Tried my guy at NAPA.....nothing. Tried Traction in P.A. nothing.
Any ideas where i can get a starter for a 223 ?

Get your`s rebuilt at Labelle`s in Saskatoon/653-8859.
I would have thought that Napa should have it, they are usually quite good at finding older stuff.

Your Napa guy is wrong, Napa in Saskatoon has one listed but it`s $263 x-change, $23 core. Labelle`s /653-8859 should be cheaper.

Actually 263 bucks isnt bad for a starter. That must be a rebuilt one though right? (they dont charge core on new ones do they?)

I got a couple 223's lying around and about, motors are seized so the starter is a mystery if mine are good at all.

By the time I get home it`s too late to call Labelle's, I`ll try to call some morning and see what their price is.
