n one of these?
Yup. There supposed to be real good. There's a guy on the Manitoba-Saskatchewan chapter (t_dickie) that's got a couple. I t might be his dad that has them, but they're in the family. If it's not got too many miles on it and it's in good shape, then snag it. Maybe not for that price, but that depends on you and the truck.
well if it is still there this weekend I will have to look at it. This is usually a problem when I find something, it's usually gone before I get there. I travel for work, guess I'm lucky to be working. Ford built these in the USA or across the pond ?
I've only seen one, it was "well used" LoL. Power wasn't great, but I think it was just a 4 cyl. Pulled a 76 250 HiBoy about 30 miles with a bumper dolly, was a comical sight! Guy ran it till the body fell off, and swapped to a gas ranger. Never liked the gasser as much as the diesel, tried buying the motor/trans back but passed away before it could happen.

Man, if it's in as good a shape as he makes it sound, I'd seriously think about it (prolly get it for 1600 to 1800)....
Too bad we cannot get the current Diesel Ranger in the States. I am in Afghanistan and see the ones that the Afghan Police and Army use. They are 4 door, 5 speed, 4x4. I would love to have one, but for some stupid reason, they can have them here but we cannot get them in the States????? The way these guys drive here and how well they hold up, it would be great.

It's because the powers in charge of the USA (you know, the OIL COMPANIES) insist on having vehicles burn more fuel, but supposedly cleaner. So they don't meet the US emissions standards.
hm......nice job digging up this old thread, but I don't think trying to sell parts is permited in the open forums, you may want to post in the ad section if you want to sell parts
I've had one with the Mitsubishi 2.3l Turbo engine. Had great power, would pull anything. Had a timing belt though, couldn't find parts anywhere. Has an aluminum cyl head, luckliy that didnt' get warped when the Head gasket blew. If there were parts out there, I would have kept mine, it was a nice thing to have around...almost 30mpg and the turbo whistle was great.
