It sounds like you got your issue the,leak fpr or the fuel pump. Something with the FP If you said the ff was clogged maybe it burnt out the pump. There are tests to figure out if it is the pump or the FPR. My guess is the pump
did you ever come up with anything? my 89 2.3 is doing something similar, also after sitting for a winter. it bogs down and has no power too but it only does it sometimes. other times its fine but now its starting hard on cold mornngs better if i throw the key to start right away instead of priming the pump with the key in run first. the pump and filter are only about 2 years old. it started the down on power thing the first time i took it on a 100 mile trip and i had just added some seafoam. i cleaned the tank when i replaced the pump but i think i forgot to blow out the fuel lines. I only mention it because part of me thinks the seafoam could have disloged something and sent it towards the engine causing other problems. oh and when running truck smells rich but acts likes its lean...
