chugging/surging @ idle when cold

Mines does not surge, but in the morning, and only sometimes, if I just start it up and try to put it into reverse, it will chug and sound like it wants to die it. It will idle rough for a couple of minutes or so until it warms up, usually only in gear, when you put a load on the engine.

Still chasing it .. Truck has 168k on it.
Ive done the vac line under the tbody. Cleaned the maf
Last week it coded for o2 not sure which bank. I cleared the code truck started acting up a week later replaced both o2s. No luck.. fuel filter no results..
Today it got worse code po300 for multiple misfires.. po305 cylinder #5 misfire changed out.. took it for a ride got a little better but not right.
When I got home po310 /300 codes

I'm in the same boat Mike. Tried most of what you have and still have the idle issue, however, my truck has not thrown a code yet. I'm going to go through and re-check all the coil boots and apply some dielectric grease this weekend, hopefully.

Well here's where my problems leading... multiple missfire #5 & #10 have coded. I got
#5 to quiet down #10 keeps coding. Replaced the plugs and the elbow. Other things done new O2 sensors cleaned the maf. The old plugs looked lean with the exception of 5&10.
My neighbor came over and said he had seen this before and claims its the Intake gasket. The fact that 5&10 seem to be probmatic He's most likely right..
