Fluctuating fuel gauge
I have a 03 f350 7.3 single tank. When you first start the truck the gauge reads correct. After a while it will drop to below empty and the low fuel light comes on. Other times it jumps up to above the full mark. My first thought was the sender must be bad. I checked with parts house and they said dealer only. Dealer says $610 at cost. Hopefully i am missing something and this is not the problem. Any cheaper suggestions PLEASE!

I suggest that if you need to replace it you look to partsguyed. I bet he's got a better deal on it than anybody else.
