Mike, I am a little slow here, What does a tranny case have to do with the starter? Is it busted so the starter isn't inguaging correctly?

yeah, when my sister owned my truck (before i lifted it and did all the mods to it) she had a new starter put in it. well the people that put it in used an impact wrench to tighten down the bolts and it striped out the threads of the case:-X23 . they redrilled the hole and welded a bolt to the other side so that they could put a starter on it. but because they hole was bigger than usual the starter could now push itself away from the flywheel after about 6-8 starts, wearing teeth down on the starter and the flywheel. because of that my flywheel has a whole little section of teeth missing and my truck always seems to stall on that part when im out on the trails, not fun.
