Does anybody know of a place in NC......or VA, TN or SC for that matter, that has beds that have been removed for sale? My 85 F150 is in desperate need of something. The sheetmetal is straight but the fender arches have rotted through from the inside, even after two attempts to stop the rust. I've looked at patch panels but it looks like the inside skin would have to be replaced too. So I was wondering about an aftermarket company that replaced the original bed with a work bed. I've called Ford Body in Greensboro and the guy informed me that "we don't have any cause we don't take bodies off the original trucks". Wonder how they get the work bodies on there then? LOL
Or if anybody knows where I can find an 80-86 longbed in reasonable condition.......
Ron, I would suggest that you look at every truck of that vintage that you see for sale, or parked in someones yard. You should be able to find a truck with the engine shot for $3-500.00 if you look carefully.

Ron, Bob has a bed for sale off his brown truck. I'm not sure if the skin is exactly the same. I think his is an 88. Give him a call or drop him an E.
