Truck issues

Hey y'all, Im having some issuses with my truck. First off does anyone know where the inertia switch is located and do you have a pictures of it in its location. Second me and my dad were trying to get my truck to run it turns over and fires when wd40 is sprayed in to the intake, the pumps are good we testd them with jumper wires from a battery, we have the problem narrowed down to the wiring we think the problem is the inertia switch, so in attempt to fix the problem but with out resetting the inertia switch we ran wires to both of the pumps and to a fuse in the fuse box, we had the truck running but she died and now we have no power to any thing. Do you think we fried the PCM with our re-wireing attempt?

Rewiring the fuel pumps should not hurt the PCM.

If we are talking about the 1989 truck then it does not have a main fuse.
It uses fuse links.
It has some fuse links coming off the battery side of the starter solenoid and two down (Ignition & O2) on the drivers inter fender in the harness just about 6 inch before the big round firewall plug.
