Saying Hi

Thom, I thought I would stick my head in and say hi. I guess folks haven't found the state forums yet, or just don't feel that there is anything that needs to be said here that can't be said on the main boards.
Your thoughts??

Hi John:

One more peg to hang your hat on. :-) I think the state forums will do fine as long as the people that pass through, pull up a chair and say hello.

Thanks for stopping by.

Welcome Angela! There isn't anything special you need to do, except becoming a Club FTE member. There is a link to Club FTE in the right menu area. Recruiting efforts would be great. I know there are several members from NY that regularly contribute to the message forums. It would be great to have a get-together. Maybe something like the Syracuse Nationals would be a nice chapter event that we could attend. This is the place where we should all stay in touch. Thanks for checking in.

Well, I guess I should throw my $.02 in from the brink of the Falls too. (Niagara Falls that is) A get together sounds great! Just let us know where!

Welcome Joe! I am open to suggestion for events and places. My hope is that we can get a bunch of us together in the Spring/Summer when the weather breaks. I also like the idea of a day long road ralley.
Stay tuned.

I hope this is ok to mention! I belong to another F150 Chapter & we have MANY events coming up along with other states! I'd be happy to list the events but ONLY IF it's ok. I am not tying to step on toes here & I se eno reason both Chapters can't work together! I sure hope so - there's so much fun at rallies when you have 15, 20 or 28 F150's lined up! So far, 28 is the largest # of trucks we've had at 1 rally!
I really look forward to being a member here & will sign up in a week or so - I am JUST starting a new job & need to wait for my first paycheck!

I see no reason we can't promote any event. However, seeing that this is a NY chapter, promoting NY events would be first and foremost. Feel free to create a topic called "Events" or something appropriate. :-)

Thanks! I will get a post started & list the events I'm hoping to attend this summer. I know I want to get to Lima, OH for the off road Truck Jamboree in May - that's supposed to be huge! The the other chapter I belong to is participating in a benefit for our local Mercy Flight med evac helicopter. I'll find out more & let everyone know ok?
Stay tuned for more info! Bye for now!

Thanks for stopping Kenny. I'm sure the Mid-Atlantic chapter would have you, but perhaps there should be a tri-state area forum? What do you think?

Saying Hi

Hello all. I'm new to Ford trucks well not really but it's been 30 years since I owned my last and it was a 59 English Ford (Thames Van) with a little flathead 4 banger and a 3 speed. I've now upgraded to a 2001 Ranger XL 2X4, still have a 4 banger but it has 2 more gears. The heater works in this one too, handy around here this time of year.

This place is great I'm having a lot of fun looking at all the topics and adding my .02 cents worth occasionaly. Anyone around the Rochester area?
