starting issues and trans issues
I have a 99 f350 7.3 turbo power stroke van.
it is very very hard to start in the morning, it makes a nock nock noise like it was sprayed with starting fluid, and it blow white smoke. then when it starts it chugs, and has no throttle responce, you can hold your foot down on the pedel and it stays at idle.
after about 10-15 minutes the sound of the engine changes and I get a throttle responce. it is drivable, but has no power.
also the breather cap ontop of the trans behind the bell housing is blowing trans fluid,
about a quart. why would my trans push fluid out of the breather cap when the fluid level is correct?
can somebody help me with this problem.
