The E3 plugs give you a little more H.P. and better mileage.
What are E3 plugs? I have used Bosch Platinum & Platinum 2 plugs in my 460. without any apparent problems.
But I'm going back to OEM plugs in everything. In our Blazer I run AC Delco Platinum plugs. Our Jeep Limited 5.9 when I bought it, it had Bosch Platinum 2 plugs & I was having starting issues, (hard starting) so I went to Champion Copper Core & that solved that problem. What I noticed was the Bosch were running cold. I checked to see if they were the right plugs & they were. Also going to the OEM plug I see an improvement in gas mileage.
So I'm looking at going to Motorcraft or Autolite copper plugs in my 460. I'm curious if the Bosch show signs of being TOO COLD of heat range as with our Jeep.

Go to summit racing or any online auto parts store and do a search on e3 plugs I have watched some shows and read some articles and they outperformed all the competition.
summit sells motorcraft plugs.... i find replacing dealer parts with dealer parts is always the best option...most aftermarket parts skimp big time on quality ... the copper core on those plugs has a significantly larger core than those of cheaper brands like champion... autolite coppers are about the same exact thing...
