Hey from Marine on St. Croix. I have two Ford pickups, a '52 F1 and a '97 F150. I just came in from the garage. Put a new radiator in the F150. I'm buliding a new flathead for my F1. It's bored out to 3 5/16" and stroked to 4" for about 276 cubic inches, Offy heads, Holley four barrel, stainless steel 1.56" valves and Isky cam.

East bethel is a nice area. I know some guys out there that run a body shop and I have a friend that live close in Oak Grove. I lived in Brooklyn Park shortly but I hate the suburbs.
I've always enjoyed the suburbs, living in them all my 30 years. But after getting married, plus the horse she owned, and then buying 3 more, the $600 every month to boarding got to be alot. Been looking at acreage lots for over a year, but very expensdive around here. But... I think we found a place in East Bethel. Country living here i come!

Where do you board the horses?
Do me a favor please, if you would. I've heard that it is hard to find a horse vet up north of the cities, i.e. Princeton, Isanti, etc. that is willing to take new clients. Too busy. A friend of mine is thinking about moving up there and would like to know if that's true. Let me know what you find out when you know. Thanks.

I will let you know about the vet. We've never had problems with the Vet, mostly Anoka Equine here in the cities, but a Farrier is a whole different subject. We find that to be almost impossible. As busy as they are they must be rolling in the dough!
We just lost our best farrier down here in the SW suburbs too. He moved out east to work on the really high dollar horses (the 1.5 million dollar category). Getting $300 to $500 per shoeing. Now the guys that were just busy are overloaded. I'm sure if Anoka Equine has been working with your horses they will continue to keep you on as clients. I didn't know if you were already in their area or not but I know East Bethel is within their range. The real problems seem to be when a person gets up near hwy 95.
You'll like it up there I think, very nice area. I like it a lot. We have a lot of friends up there, i.e. by Princeton.
>Hi guys, Ottertail county MN here.

>from my wedding in it.
was that before or after the ceremony? :-staun
