Very strange electrical thing...

I will give it a try but I really cant see it fixing my problem. I can see it slowing down the starter some but only the guages quit working???? Sometimes the tach will go all the way to max and other odd things...About 3 years ago I had the whole positive cable replaced and that fixed my problems at that time.

I agree... That is exactly what I thought at first. "how can it be that simple?" is what I thought. I mean mine was not doing that but every light on the dash would come on trying to crank it as well as the guages acting funky... Sure enough it cured it...
