I did a little bit of research on the site and couldn't quite find the solution to my problem. Im throwing two codes. 1. EGR valve sensor below minimum voltage. 2.TPS sensor below minimum voltage. I have been fussing around with my volt meter a little bit and i came up with some frustrating results. I am only getting a steady .35 volts at the EGR valve sensor, when it sould be 5, and nothing at the TPS sensor. I found the same color wires from the EGR sensor on the main harness connector and back probed them. I am only getting a steady .46 volts right at the harness. I checked all the fuses in the engine compartment for the hell of it and thay are all fine. Now i cant figure out where to go from here. Any ideas??
My truck was throwing some kind of TPS code and I just replaced it. Light hasn't been on since, and I noticed the difference when I drove it. They aren't that expensive.
