[quote=dixokai;8065090]Thanks for your input guys maybe my wife won't ditch me after all. I told her she should sue the city for building the street to close to her a$$....lol[quote]

And for some reason, they don't always catch the humor intended in these comments?!

I had the nerf bars on my 94 F350 CC4x, bolted right to the frame, sat up nice and tight to the cab, and actually helped as a protector a couple times. Be prepared for drilling into the frame,,,, IT IS HARD, get some good bits, start small and step them up.
My "new" 96 has the full length running boards, I was not a fan of them, until I needed the cooler, actually, the beer in the cooler in the bed, and since having my *** closer to the pavement, (5'9") it was actually quite useful,,, and realistically, my 96 won't really see much off-road work, that is what my 77 and 63 are for, that at the wife's request, they will stay for now....

Yup, and if she ever reads this, I'm dead!!! I'm a little vertically challenged myself (5'8")

(really I would be lost without her)

Retracting steps.

A friend of mine, installed electric retractable steps. He wired them to the door switch so that when the door is opened, they deploy. They look awesome and when retracted, you would never know they were there.
