Oh, one question I thought of yesterday……generators. How common is it for a generator to be built into the trailer? I see a lot of generators hanging on rear bumpers. A friend of mind had his stolen off of his rear bumper. I'd like to get something with a generator built into the chassis.

Most TT don't have a generator built in. I'd suggest putting it in the truck and using a high quality cable lock to secure it. The other option is going solar, but you could spend a lot of $$ going that route.

I know that some trailers do come pre wired for a genset, there are a few that do come with them installed but it is definitly not the majority.
