I need headers!! (400)
I did a motor swap on my '65 F100 2wd shortbed. Engine is out of a galaxie and one of the exhaust manifolds is different. I dont wanna go pulling manifolds from the junkyard so I wanna get a set of headers.
Ive been looking at Summit Racing headers and the price, I like very much but.. they are listed for 4WD. Can anyone tell me if 4wd headers will work with my 2wd??
Btw the engine is a 400.

Must not have been the original engine the Galaxie (maybe the later LTD version). I'm merely guessing here but you might try headers for a 78 F150 4X2 with the 400 engine. I would think they would work.

Did you put the 400 engine mount frame stands in? If not the engine will sit higher and may cause issues with header fit and driveshaft angle.

yup i got the engine mount stands from a '78.
