Leaky Sensor Help
Hello all, I’m posting to see if I can help my dad out. He drives a 1996 7.3L PSD, supercab. He's been the only owner. He’s got a fuel leak from a sensor near the fuel filter (see picture). There are no other problems with the truck and it runs fine, just this small leak that has gotten a little worst over the last couple of weeks. If I loosen the sensor, retorque it, and it still leaks, can I put Teflon tape on the threads and reinstall it? Last question, which sensor is this?

Mine is leaking too & I just called Ford today. Had 2 in stock, 60 bucks. I called International with their part # ( 1809435c1 ) $ 16.74 . Guess that why Ford still has 2 in stock .
Also thanks to Pjwoolw for the link to the PS parts list you gave out not too long ago. Thats how I found the IH part #. Tried to rep you , but it said I had to spread the love.
