302 block swap?

302 block swap?
First off I hope this can be posted here. Secondly what I have is a 302(1977) in my boat that has a cracked block. I'm wondering if I can take the crank,pistons,cam,pan and anything else from my boats motor and put them in a block out of a car or truck and throw my top end on it?

A 302 is a 302, the only differnce between a marine longblock and an automotive version is the cam, so swap that(or better yet get a new one) and put the marine intake and exhaust on it and drop it in.
