ring pinion locker advise
I just bought 1976 F250, it has a 400cid out of a 1977 F250 but the rest is original with a C-6 trans, NP205, I assume dana 60 in the rear and hd44 in the front. I run 35" super swampers tsl and am wanting to change the ring & pinion gears, aslo want to put in lockers. I wanted to see what advise on these items anyone had. Just looking for a good priced setup that I dont have to worry about in the future. I bought this truck to haul wood in and it came with a western snow plow so I'll push some snow. My youngest son wants to drive it about 10 miles to school when he gets his license this may. I was looking at a ratio of 4.30 and didnt know what to get as far as a good locker for the money. I hope you all can give me some good advise on either, thanks.

I'm not sure I couldnt find a tag on the axles, the door plate list the axles as 24 whatever that is? I,ll have to get it off the ground and turn the tire and count the driveshaft rev. to know for sure but its probably got 3.50 to 3.73 but I'm guessing closer to 3.50's.
