need some help please

need some help please

i have a f250 7.3 when i turn the truck on after about three to 5 seconds a alarm comes on but no light on the dash seat belt is buckled and it will sound once in awhile while driving can someone please let me know what to do thanks

Sounds like fun.

I'd start by trying to figure out which alarm sound it is. Unbuckle your seat belt, open the door with the keys in the ignition, leave the headlights on and open the door, and anything else you can think of that might make some sort of alarm.

Once you figure out which type of alarm it is, then we can move on with how to fix it. Sounds like it may just be a stuck switch somewhere.

Probably for the air bag. Do you see an air bag indicator light? If not, the bulb could be blown and the chime is to indicate an airbag problem if the bulb isn't working.
