Is it raining, water a possibility? I would pull the connector at the fenderwell and check every pin looking for burnt pins. Above that, it sounds like you've got a bad short somewhere. I would check all connectors coming to and from the computer. That's the best I can tell you at this point. I've never encountered this problem. Hopefully someone who has will chime in. But I will say, I've never seen this before.

Iam with duck.
Intermittent short or a over voltage spike from
a bad regulator. Over voltage is rare and tends to be AC not DC.
Also a +12v leak into the +5v side of the pcm will do it. (wiring rubout short)
Same stands true for the high idm inj voltage into the pcm.
Will a scan tool read after the failure?
What made you change the pcm the first time?

Okay, so lets back up. Where is the "pcm" you replaced? Is it on the fender in the engine bay, or is it in the firewall behind the parking brake. And did YOU replace it, or did someone else. Just trying to fill the gaps.
