My buddy has a 06 250 with the 6.0 and my truck is listed below. We have the exact same TT with the same hitch Blue Ox. I just bought my hitch and set it up the same as his. Why does my truck still sag more then his? That is why I bought the new hitch. I have the "camper Pack" w/ cert, the snow plow pack, as far as I know I have every avalible HD option you could get. Are the spring different on the 09's? Oh my buddy does not have the camper pack.
do you have more tounge weight? do you have more stuff loaded in the front compartments of your trailer?,do you have two batteries aand does he have one? what about a difference in propane? when comparing the trucks are you both on level ground? also does the front of your truck sit higher than his? giving him the appearence of less sag.
Most of the answers are no, it is the exact same trailer. As far as stuff in the trailer the wife is pretty good about not travailing with much. Batteries and propane agian is the same. I dont think we sit to different empty. That is what has me stumped. It pulls the trailer fine. It is more an apperance thing to me.
i understand the appearence thing. i bought my truck and it had a leveling kit already in stalled and when i hooked my TT up the rear of my truck sagged and it bothered me, so i installed air bags w/ the onboard compresser. my truck was'nt overloaded the front just sat higher than it should. measure yours and your friends front heights. i wonder if your higher in the front.
I would wager similar, because there is a big weight difference in the diesel to v10. You have less ballast up front, so either you are sitting higher, or the front is unloading more with your setup the same. You need to adjust your settings to your truck, not his. If you both had the same truck, same year, same engine, same wb etc then you could be concerned. There is enough of a difference between the year ( your truck has longer rear leaf springs) and the engine weight it is probably the difference it the stance.
