2003 expy

hey.. just wanted to say my 2cents worth on the 2003 Expy. I recently had the opportunity to drive one for week due to somebody bouncing their truck off my 2000 expy.. (not happy about that)..
The insurance "allowed" me to rent a 2003 , it was an EB with4 captains seats.

Nice truck, but tooo much like an oversized minivan.. 1st day I put about 300Kms on it and it drives great on the highway.. the trip computer is useless (wrong mileage calc) but is too much like a minivan..

It's not the same (given) but I really feel that this truck looks too much like an explorer on steriods... sorry for the negative comments but it does have it's plus's... nice clean engine compartment and half decent factory sound

anyhow. got my truck back recently and put on carbon fiber tails.. looks pretty nice ...

You didn't like the relatively flat cornering? You didn't like improved braking response? You didn't like the more controlled ride? You didn't like the improved door handles and liftgate? You didn't like the improved interior passenger/cargo flexibility? You didn't like the cooled/heated seats? I bet you didn't even like the new throaty exhaust sound did you?
Well, as a former '97 XLT, and '00 EB owner, I didn't like everything either, but after two weeks, would I go back.........NO WAY!

Trust me, I know the mini-van, and the '03 Expy is no mini-van.

I guess my question is what kind of mini-van are you driving that you think it is as nice as the 2003 Exedition? I want to know....

The 2003 Exp is AWESOME, the independent rear suspension makes for an incredible ride, it runs great, love the new exhaust sound and the sound system is impressive.

Would like to see a supercharged version of it, but other than that.... it must be driven to be believed.

This guy needs to get out more.

Gheez.
