Looking at '07 KR
There is a certified pre-owned 2007 King Ranch 4x4 for sale at a dealer nearby:

They want a King's ransom for it - $32,899. It looks to be valued at around $29k according to several pricing websites.
I'm considering taking a ride to look at it - don't really need some of the extras (Nav, Sat radio) on the truck but figured it might be worth a look. Any suggestions as to what to look for on these trucks? I'm sure many things have changed since my old 1993 model was built. Are there any particular issues or problems with the '04-'08 models?
I was thinking of waiting for the 2011 Super Duty - could use a 4-door truck with the three kids, my 2000 Nissan Frontier Super Cab ain't cutting it anymore.
We're thinking of getting a camper in the future, maybe even a 5th wheeler. I presume I'd need a Super Duty if I go that large. I guess I could always use this until I actually get a camper.

I bought a 07 KR in the spring in canada here for MUCH less then that with around 50,000 miles on it. LOVE the truck. Right after I got mine I noticed it leaking antifreeze. After lookin I found it was the fan shroud that had rubbed a hole in the rad and would only leak when under pressure on the road. That's the only issue I have had with mine to date.
Make sure the seats were well taken care of. If they went a year or so without being conditioned they will be cracked and hard to bring back. There beautiful seats but they do not take well to neglect or things being spilt on them.
As far as towing the F 150 will tow the majority of your camper units. 5th wheel included. Of course I don't know what size of camper your getting as a lot of them do require SD to tow them. I just wouldn't shy away from a f150 unless you know your getting a big camper.
