Hpop again!!!

About a month ago I sprang a leak in the "non-servicable" plug and got some great advise and help here at FTE. I got an o-ring set from Guzzle and did the repair myself. It held... until today! I got on it a little bit coming on to the local hiway and heard a faint "ping" sound and the fire went out. I bearly coasted to the side of the road, looked under the hood....oil everywhere! Looked at the drivers side of the HPOP and that plug was GONE! While I waited for the tow truck I went back to the seen and found the plug laying in the road. So.. if you do this repair be sure to get the longer threaded plug from International or Dieselsite if its at all loose when you torque it down(I wasn't aware it was available when I did mine) I just ordered an Adrenaline from Bob at Dieselsite. BTW he's caught up with the backorders and says he can ship me one on Monday, I had it next dayed, but I'm dead until at least Tuesday.

Those short plugs are easy to pop out only really have a couple threads working for you. I got one of those long ones and stuck a little locktight on there and have been good so far!

Yep -- the replacement has longer threads, and the kit from International comes with green Loctite. I just had to do mine, too. The new injectors allowed the HPOP to actually hold the pressure the tuning was calling for (2800-3000 psi, where it was barely holding 2000 on the stock sticks). Here's a pic of the two plugs:
