supporter figured it out
thanks to all who have helped in the last month or so since i got my new to me f-350 7.3.
started out to just be a tow rig and evolved into a freakin toy with bennies.
got most of all the little mods done with your help,such as a leveling kit, 6637,ccv,new built turbo with ww and ex valve delete,guages,trans temp ,egt,boost,three piller mount,muff delete Dp tunner,60 ec 80 tow 120 race,zoodad,2005 headlight kit comming,liquid metal gatlings, 35s mud grapplers,(loud on the road) pioneer touch screen gps, cirwin vega amp duel 10 subs. and i know i have missed somthing.And all due to P.M.S.
Now i can post photos wish i would have taken some shots of the projects i have done, it might have helped someone out. i know that a photo tell a thousand words. O and a hpoto of what i will be towing

Nice truck! Have you thought about looking for some white Excursion door handles on ebay? A color matched F350 would look awesome. Sweet Mog too, someday I'll have one in the driveway. I feel like I'm in the same boat. I bought my X as a Tow Rig and as it turns out, I'm modding it as much as my crawler.

Thanks. The suspension is still attached and doing it's job. The more the suspension flexes like that the more level and stable the truck will be, not to mention the added traction of having all four tires on the ground. So basically the object of building a rock crawler's suspension is to have lots of droop (like the front wheel) and lots of compression (like the rear wheel).

When I had my white F250 I remember seeing them on ebay but sold it for the Excursion before buying any. I've since forgotton the price. Just look for Excursion handles, they'll fit and you can install them yourself, very easy to do.
