c4

Hi guys , been off for a good while but truck coming on great now , small problems leaking trans from selector , this easily solved ? also are there diffrent speedo cable ends into the c4 trans i have a new one but not turning speedo ! any help appreciated Kev uk. ps also probs with volare s/box turns then stops this normal when oiling up first time ?

The C4 is notorious for leaking from the selector. There's 2 seals that might leak .. one on the kickdown and one on the selector itself.

Unfortunately the seal is on the inside, so you have to drop the pan and valve body to change it.

I had the same problem, it's supposed to be a pretty easy to do yourself. I had a tranny shop do it as part of a fluid flush .. pretty inexpensive too.
