Disc Brakes!

So, I was talking with my mom today, telling her the next big thing I do to the truck will be to put disc brakes in the front, she responded by telling me my dad has been planning on getting it done for me! Gosh I love being a broke 20 year old still living at home! haha

Yeah, sometimes there are advantages to being broke.....ha. At least my dad lets me keep my truck in his garage...can't complain.

These old trucks are fairly popular amongst the younger guys in the US then. I guess at 29 I maybe one of the youngest to own one in the UK though?!!!

Discs maybe something I will look at doing in the future as I will be doing a bit of towing and the drums are pretty poor for the weight of these things, however I will see how I go with them first.

haha, I'm really hoping it doesn't get to that, soon as the economy gets better and i can actually make enough money to save some, I'll probably be getting married, I mean in like 2-3 years hopefully, if this turns around that fast, though I'm kinda doubting it.

oh no, I know it will, it's a cycle that's been going on since even before the romans, typically, 10 good years, 10 bad years, 10 good, 10 bad, and so on and so forth, though not always exactly 10, but look back from the depression here.

30's to mid 40's- Hard times
mid 40's to late 50's-Good times
skip cause I'm not sure exact,
70's - Hard
I know I should have exact dates to make a good case, but too lazy to look it up. haha

So anyways, I think we've been goin down for about 2-3 years now, only been real bad about a year to 18 months, so I don't want it to be 7-8 years from now when it's turned around and booming.
