Well, it finally happened......
went out this morning to go to class. Get in my 99 5.4 - no joy. The classic "starts right away but dies." On my way to dealer to pick up a new IAC (I don't want to clean it, I'd rather replace it)
Had to e-mail my professor with the lamest excuse ever - "car trouble".
Boy do I feel like a jerk.

Well, it finally happened......
I'm about to do the same thing. I cleaned mine several months ago and I don't have the "stalling" symptom any more, but my idle is extremely erratic...sometimes 600 rpm's and other times around 1,000 rpm's.
