Question Creaky Steering

OK here is my problem, when I turn the wheel it sounds like a creaky front door on a haunted house. Now that is nice for the Halloween season but what the "H" is it...could it be the "U" Joint??? If it is how do you fix or replace it??? or can it be lubed or greased???

Come on Boys this is a good one!

Just an idea: Mine was doing the same thing, they first thought it was the joint to the front stabilizer bar link.
But in reality it was the front leaf spring rubbing on the front bumper bracket.

There are 2 arms that hang down behind the front diff on a 4x4, not sure about a 2wd. these arms have rubber bushing in them they cost about 77 bucks each for the whole arm with bushings easy to change they stopped my noise.
