You should get a notice in the mail stating the recall. It will give you instructions asking you to call your local dealer to make an appointment for the recall fix.

you can also call your dealer, give them your vin number and they will tell you what to do and if your vehicle is in the recall.

That would be nice, huh? According to the discussion in the SD forum, all they are doing is installing an inline fuse. No switch change.

Maybe you can convince them that the bad design caused your switch to fail.

That's exactly what they did to my Exploder...put an inline fuse on the Cruise Control. I wish they would have replaced the switches on the steering wheel, those lights no longer work and the soft vinyl is crack is looks bad. Too lazy to fix it myself though.
