Need help with this???
Ok i know this subject has been brought up alot in many of forums but I want to ask and I want a as straight of an answer as possible. I want to know is it possible and if so where can I buy a turbo for my 4.9l 300 c.u. 1986 F150.

i am almost 100% sure there is no bolt on complete kit. i have seen people buy a turbo and build a custom kit from the ground up. check this out:

i have seen some people take turbos off of diesel trucks and put them on the 300's as well. this guy just put a turbo from a chevy diesel in his:

he said overall install was easy, minor annoying things popped up though. like, gaskets were blowing, gas mileage sucked...it does sound like a cummins with straight pipes on it
