holly 0-8007, 0-80570. these have electric choke. or 0-81570, this one has a manual choke. or you can do your own search at Holley Interactive Carburetor Selector
I have the Holley 4-barrel w/ non-adjustable floats (i think it's 80457S) and hate it. Not saying anything bad about Holleys generally, but after reading a book on tuning Holley carbs and trying pretty much everything in it, it's just been too hard to troubleshoot when everything starts with, "first check your float level."
I've got a 4bbl Holley list 1830-3 (4160). Adjustable floats and manual choke (after the problems my dad has with his electric choke on a '82 F150 I6 I'll never go electric). Only "bad" thing with it, I think anyway, is the secondaries are kinda along for the ride with no adjustments I can do. When I got it it really needed a rebuild but still ran the 400 it was put on, just extremely loud. After rebuilding the engine ran much quieter, doesn't need mufflers at idle like it did before but still need's them above idle
My opinion, and we all know what that's worth ($.02), is that the Autolite 2bbl is plenty of go-juice for the 351. Unless you're adding things like more compression, hotter cam, headers, etc., the 4bbl may be too much carburetion depending on it's CFM rating. My calculations show the 351 needs only about 600CFM to do really well. Plus that Autolite is a snap to rebuild. A switchover to 4bbl is costly too. The manifolds are $120+ and the carb which is easily $250+. Also depends on what kind of driving you plan to do. Again, just my $.02 worth.
Reed, the rebuild kit for your carb is about $30 at NAPA. The parts diagram is good enough to guide you in reassembly and there is alway the FTE boards to help too. Mine ran like crap until I did the rebuild and now it runs like a raped ape.
I used a degreaser like "Purple Power" to clean mine up and it came out shiny like the day it was made. Spray it on let it soak for maybe 10 min tops and gently brush away the grime with a brass brush or a parts cleaning brush. Rinse off in really, really hot water and it will dry on its own. It takes time; mine was about 2 days to clean all the parts thorougly but it was worth it. I topcoated mine with a clear engine enamel to preserve that new look. Rebuild was the easiest part; about 2 hours.
It will give you peace of mind that the carb is no longer a source of any troubles...unless you install an electric choke like I did. See my earlier thread about "electric choke popping fuses".
yeah, the rebuild is super easy on the 2bbls. my summer project when i was 14 was to get my 76 running after it had sat for 6 years. so i rebuilt the carb. took me two days cause when i started, it was later in the evening and carquest had already closed so i couldnt get the rebuild kit. lol. i might add that i did the whole thing without any help! (sorry, my wee bit o' braggin rights... i mean, i was 14! lol.) the choke needs to be replaced now, but other than that, its still running like new.
