I live in AZ where the heat is hard on wipers. They dry out on me and I have to replace them at least twice a year. I started buying the NAPA mid grade ones which I believe were around $14 a piece and I get a year out them. The cheap ones I get 6 months out of.
The Duralast ones will last about 6-8 months and then the blue caps fly off. I bought the Bosch ones and those work very well. if you can hit them on a sale pick up the Bosch ones.
Id go for the Bosch Icons, thats what ive used and currently have on my truck now. Cleans great in all weather and lasts a lot longer than the traditional ones. Last set I had lasted 3 years, I just wiped an alcohol pad down them when I changed my oil to keep the rubber pliable. There are Trico Neoforms (which I dont like) and Flex (cheaper, entry level beam blade), which are usualy cheaper(Advance has a sale on both now). Icons have a better and easier hook up whereas the neoforms are more of a PITA to put on and tend to have more blade separation.
