no start

96 superduty 7.3 went to start this morning tried to run white smoke out the exhaust then nothing no white smoke out exhaust changed the gpr still nothing could use some help with this

I would guess CPS. Change that out and see if it doesn't work. Usually when they fail there will be no movement on the tach when you turn it over, although I have had them fail and still show movement on the tach.

Does the "wait to start light" still come on? If not check under hood fuse #22 and see if it is blown. If so then the fuel filter canister heater is probably shorted out. Unplug it, second connection from top on drivers side of the canister and replace the fuse.
