Probably the way you poured it, it all got sucked down the right bank, next time put in through your pcv or brake booster hose.

yeah. the stock intakes are dual plane. if you didnt run it back and forth between the left and right barrels, you only fed one side. i just pour it in one side to start and continually go back and forth at an easy, steady pace, then pour a whole bunch in the middle till it stalls. let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes, crank er up, and run the crap out of it.

Bumping an old thread to share a sale with ya'll

For those of you who use Seafoam:

Advanced Auto parts has the Seafoam Motor Treatment for Gas and Diesel Engines (16 fl. oz.) for $6.99. The sale is good till April 28, 2010.

Link

*- No Shipping Due To Restrictions

My Autozone & O'Reilly's have the same $9.99 price on Seafoam. $6.99 seems to be a better deal than the everyday $9.99 price.

If $6.99 is not cheap enough, you might want to try making your own.

What ever happened to GM Top Engine Cleaner? I went into the dealer the other day to get some and they told me it's not produced anymore.

I wouldn't pour in enough to stall the truck. Maybe a possibility of hydrolocking the motor?

Usually it stalls out. Some people allow the brake booster vacuum line to suck up an entire can of Seafoam. That's when I would be worried about hydrolocking the engine. I measure out 1/4 to 1/2 of the can, and slowly pour it in. I find that is better than just sticking the vacuum line in and allowing it to suck up the entire can. I think that's when you are asking for your engine to be hydrolocked.
