my truck has no provision in that housing ? or am i missing it the pic atblackclouddiesel sure aint like mine.
If u have one it will have a relay next to the glow plug relay(looks the same). Did u open the .pdf file for install instructions? It has good pictures.
yeah i only have one relay for the glow plugs. has any one heard of this?
Not sure if u understood me...@ Blackclouddiesel they have an excellent install instructions with good pictures on removing the AIH(it's a .pdf file). U may not have one. It just reduces white smoke on cold days of long idleing
yeah thats the pictures i was talking about. im quit certian i dont have one i was going to delete it to day. i bought yhis truck used from a friend who works at a car lot i got it off the back lot definatly not stock just tring to find out if this is stock or some kida high dollar iah delete. thx you guys are great
no, that is a stock boot. i have seen some stock trucks with blue ones. some are blue, some are black. the earlier ones dont have insulation on the hot-side intercooler pipe.
ok igot blue ones i was trying to get my bering straight. did ford build psd without iah if no why not just plug it a whole new casting sounds strange even for fomoco.
so you are saying yours does not have this? an idea just came to me, it might not have the cold weather package (cold weather package delete, all trucks come standard with the cold weather package.) if this is the case, you most likely do not have a block heater or an EBPV. is there linkage below your turbo, going into the pedestal?

hey i think you got something there i dont see aplug in for the block heater. i dont think there is av ebpv either not tosure where that is either. on the bottom of turbo pedistal ? but i do have ebp sensor . this sounds like ford cut out alot of weekend work for me .
no window sticker do you know the code that may be inside the glove box. i can see a plug with the draw bridge keeper on very bottom of turbo no linkages. thx jefro
You have an early '99 like we do. N sweat the horn flows better than the late models anyway! You'll just have to tap the manifold or tie into the MAP line for your boost gauge
