in sled pulling you want the weight on the front. thats why ppl use real long traction bars in sled pulling b/c the longer the bars the more leverage is transfered to the front end for traction by the rear diff trying to twist. now you put weights up in the front and your even better. the majority of the pulling that actually occurs in sled pulling comes from the front diff so you wanna stay focused on keep traction up front more than the back. the back will have gobs of weight pulling it down while your pulling anyways
