I was checking out the front end assembly sizing up the job to install a Daystar leveling kit. Admittedly its beyond my scope especially on my truck with only 1400 miles! Local 4x4 shop will do it for $500 and that includes the kit, labor and alignment. But I noticed there is no liner or flaps to keep the road debris, salt and slush spray off the sides of the motor and electrical assembly. Are they all like this or did someone forget to install them???
On my last truck, I had the dealer I bought it from do the level kit and they charged me $125 for labor, I bought the kit off of Ebay ($175). I will say it cut my MPGs down a bit. I guess I changed factory engineered air flow. I don't think I am going to do it on this Ford, when the forward tilt bothers me I just put a load in the bed, that levels it out real quick. Chris
$370 installed. That includes the kit, labor and alignment and the shop is closer to me. Your MPG issue is interesting however, thanks for the heads up.
