A proper introduction...LOL

It occurred to me that I just jumped on here started asking questions and never introduced myself.
I live about 20 miles east of the University of Mississippi. I am a manager trainee at Sims Metal Management, and working in a scrap yard has it's advantages. I have a 5yr old, a goofy dog, and a cat that likes to make kittens too often...LOL
i am going to try to post some pics of the old truck soon.

Lots of people dont bother with the intro's I dont think I ever did it. I'm kinda a matter of fact and to the point guy. At first I used the forum to answer a lot of questions I had bbut I am usually giving advice nowadays. I worked on cars professionally for about 20 yrs but I was never concerned with wich year widget will fit what year trucks and things like that.. Anyway welcome to the forum

Welcome to FTE!

That's a nice truck. I've heard that back in the day, trucks were either red or white, nothing else.....but then along came browns, and greens, and blues....lol

Sits at just the right height too. Not too high, not too low.

Great thing is i found a bed (brown and Tan) and one of my scrap dealers has got a fender so looks like the ole' girl will be getting a facelift!!!!!!

Yes kirby, i've noticed that most that model are either white (farm use) or red (pink now) LOL. I want to change the color eentually but not sure what to go with.
