Hey! What kind of shape are they in? Still have the GT letters on both? And, what are you asking? If you are in or near Calgary, maybe we can arrange a meeting? I'd love to see your Cobra!

Ford started it; Ford will finish it!
I blew right by Red Deer with my 71 on a trailer last Sunday afternoon! Too bad you couldn't have seen it! Got a lot of 'thumbs up' by people passing me or being passed by me.
Do you have an idea of how much you would like for them? Could you send me any pictures of the rockers? I still have the passenger side, but in rough shape...

Sorry it takes me so long to reply, I'm a shift worker. If I can figure out some way to get the pictures E-mailed to you I will.(should be able to beer bribe one of my buddies to give me a hand) As far as a price I guess we can come to some aggrement once you look at them. FredR.
There's a place called Custom Auto Wreckers in Edmonton that sort of specializes in Ford truck parts. I got my 5 spd trans there. Wasn't to bad of a deal.
Sure nice to know about some of them out of the way places. Seems like the obvious ones (ie-pick your part Cal and Edm, and Karbashers-Sherwood Park) are drying out for Ford trucks. I was in Ed on the weekend and did see a 62 with complete original 4x4 chassis at the pick your part, so they still pop up from time to time...
Hello. I have been searching for information on Shirley Ford in Edmonton. I have a vehicle ( 68 Mustang ) that was purhcased there and I am trying to trace its beginning. I know this a truck only forum so please excuse me but I was wondering what happened to them, and who took over the dealership. Any info would be great. I also happen to own an '89 4x4 reg cab. My dad had a string of Fords including the usual red 56 pickup with a 312 V8 (wish he kept it!!), a white 65 , 73 , 77, 80, 85, 87 , and last this one. My email address is alfriesen@t2.net. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Shirley Ford was located where the Inn on Whyte is now located (10620-82 Ave). In late 1971, Shirley sold out to a businessman, who went by 'Uncle Dennis' in his TV and newspaper ads, renamed the operation 'Westown Ford' and relocated to 75th Street. The Ford dealership remains, and is now known as Freedom Ford.
