I am getting ready to have my 65 F100 painted and need some help to determine what the original interior and exterior colors would have been. I have attached a picture of the original Owner Indentification card that I hope lists the info. I think the vehicle code is the same info as the one on the drivers door. It is at the body shop.

When I bought the truck it was black with the interior having red:
-Steering column
-floor mats
-Door inserts
-Lower 1/2 of dash
-Door handles
-Steering wheel

Assuming that the interior was red from the factory, I have a few other questions.

1. Would the seat color match the secondary interior color(in my case-red). The seat in the truck is black and is not the original.
2. What color would the sun visors be

 

Mine I think may have been red at some point....

Thanks for the info. Regarding the door handles, operator error on my part. The handles are chrome and the arm rests are red.

Would the red color in the interior have been Maroon Red. Based on the color charts I can find, it seems to be the only color of red that was available in 1965

 

I have no interior color charts for anything.

You need the Ford Salesman's Data Book to get interior colors.

The only FTE member I know that has one is camperspecial65.

The only thing I have are the factory exterior color chip charts for 1965/67.
